Bob, I'm about 10 miles from Richmond, IN. You'll be close to Muncie, home of the AMA. Hope you have more flying weather here.

Dumb thumbs strike again!
Was playing around with flaperon mixing in what was gusty wind and dorked it in the dirt.
Oh well easy fix and no prop or motor damage.

time for a nose job. sorry about the crash. Nice thing about the fun bat is how easy it is to replace the entire fuse if need be.

Hey, guys. I'm thinking of building a couple of these for combat.

Will a 0.9ounce 'Blue Wonder' type motor +10A ESC be workable? I notice a lot of 40A ESCs and 400-size motors in the thread.

I'm thinking of using blue fanfold foam. I think I recall reading about using this and taking advantage of the fold to form the leading edge of the KFm2 wing. Am I imagining that?

Should work fine. I was useing this Turnigy motor on my 27.5" funbat:
http://www.rcmodelshop.gr/index.php?...573558ebbd0a4e

Thing was a screamer at 3/4 power on a 3cell pack. Its not rated for 3 cell, but I never went full power so it held up fine.

that will work fine. I made all of mine from Readi-Board (Dollar Tree stuff) and was able to fold it over with little problem. Just needed some tape on the bending area to keep it from cracking while bending. Same basic idea with the FFF stuff.

Thanks. I was thinking the advantage of the FFF is that I don't have to bend it over at all; it's already bent.

I'd like to load the PDF plans and crop them a bit but they are password protected. Even measurements are disabled.

Is the password a big secret, or does anyone know what it is? (Or have a non-PDF version of the plans?)
