All electronics checked out. the 2200mah battery was lower then I would like but it took some charge, I have it sitting at 3.8 per cell, gonna monitor it for any changes before I give it a full charge. The end of it got kind of smooshed up slightly, I dunno if this will effect the battery at all...

The 1300mah was unsaved except for being down to 5.6 volts TOTAL, so I used nimh setting on charger to get it up to a point it would recognize it as a 3s lipo, and also put it to 3.8 per cell.

Camera seems like it tumbled to the ground and scuffed the corner of the metal casing, but otherwise it works fine, vTX transmitted fine (though my antenna seems to have picked up some oxidation, so I am going to clean it), radio RX and servos all worked fine, and the ESC and BEC .

I crashed my fpv plane today about 200 yards out. Lost video signal and was flying blind. Could not see it in time when I lifted from the goggles.All the gear survived but the plane looked like crap. I was going to toss it but got it rebuilt. The only part the was unscathed was my plastic bottle nose mod. Go figure???

Is there a better way then super glueing the elevator and aleron horns on . Two of mine broke loose the other day . I glued back but now I dont have any confidence in them.

Use plastic hinges .. cheap and extremely reliable .. get them from your local hobby shop - the Dubro hinges are only about $2 for 10 ..

For the horns you should use the ones that come with the back-plate which allows you to connect them via screws. You still should put some glue under them, just for double protection.

Bah, as I was putting my plane all back together last night I found out my camera's 4 pin connector broke! I can't find a connector at aLL that will fit this, now it looks like I will need to wait for an order from readymade before I can FPV

Why not solder the wires to the pins directly ?!

What again. Like I said Max you do like to push the envelope more than some.

Nice to know the bottle nose guard worked somewhat.

My hands are a little too shaky and my soldering iron doesn't have a fine enough tip to get in THAT tight, I had to use a 60x to 100x microscope to even see how the pins where sitting in the connector let alone try to solder it!
