Where to put my ESC?
I'm building an RC Lander F9F Panther. The old version. It's designed to have the ESC mounted on the top inside of the fuselage. Right in front of the EDF. Problem is. The battery has to be mounted in the nose to get the plane to balance. So, do I extend the battery wires all the way to the nose. Maybe 15" or so, but from what I understand this can damage the ESC or battery. Or do I extend the motor wires and mount the ESC else where? Closer to the nose. It would get less air.
