Wing Mounting Problem - Update

Well my replacements arrived today. As you can see from the image the difference is pretty obvious. Maybe the originals I received in the kit were for another model.
Anyway the new wing pins fit fine and I have my motors and ESC's now so on with the build.

Just thought I would throw up a couple of photos of my build progress!!
It's been a long time since I actually had time to work on any planes, so now that I have finished my last job and have a couple of weeks up my hand before starting on my next movie. I thought I would try and finish this one. Should be done in a couple of days hopefully.
Anyway here is my finished cockpit. The men are just a couple of GI Joe type guys I got for $2 at the $2 shop(funny that). The yokes are just bent and soldered wire, with the handles bee in heat shrink tubing. The gauges are just decals from the 1400mm FMS T-28 decal sheet. The throttle handles are just those little ball pins, and the seats backs are balsa.

LURCH
P.S. Can anyone tell me what movie I have been working on???

Very cool Lurch!
Hey, you should've had Capt. Jack be the pilot, and the yoke be a ship's wheel! Just kidding!

I can't wait to see that movie!

Will use Turnigy Plush.

Just got in from some nice evening flights with the Mule. Very calm, no wind. She performed beautifully, as expected. I really think this is the easiest plane to land of all my non-belly landers!
I was amazed that after one landing I noticed my right aileron linkage had disconnected. It had no effect as she still came in smooth!

Love it!

Very windy this morning. (20km/h - 25km/h). This plane rocks. Lots of power. No problem in take off and land. Great plane to fly in the windy days.

This plane just "sticks" to the ground on landing. All the spectators say "great landing" I just grin and know that it's mostly the plane.

Here's the mods I've done so far!
Inspired by some of you guys who have gone the route before. Thank you all, you know who you are!
Having great fun dropping parachuters (big and small ones) and "bombs"!
The Mule flies and lands superbly, HK have another winner! (some improvements for V2: better (more realistic) livery! STANDARD bomb/ordnance drop doors! ROUND engine cowlings! and navigation lights please!)

I installed the GT Power High Power 3Watt lights. http://www.buddyrc.com/accessory/led...m-reviews.htmlCrazy bright. Very visible in the air even at noon. Very happy with these lights and going to order another set for my OV-10 Bronco spotter plane.
Fun dropping stuff out of the plane huh? My favorite are streamers made from logging flagging. 10 ft. long strips of very bright plastic ribbon with a metal washer for weight.

Nice lightingset, I looked at exactly the same set sold by HK, but I'm a little afraid that the lights are in fact too bright for use during dusk.
The installment looks great at the wingtips, did you put a cover over them and do you have more closeups?

Cheers,
Martin

Don't have any more close ups. I bought a sheet of light covers from the guy who makes canopies, cowls and such. http://parkflyerplastics.com/cart/in...roducts_id=401
