Looks like it's the same motor that comes with the Freewing F-86, Panther, Mig-15. When I order one it'll be a 4s bird with a Wicked 4000+ and Pentium 60 ESC since I already have all the gear.

One thing I dont like about any of the "sport jets" coming out is the low wing configuration. Makes for difficult hand launch, and bad landings in grass.

I would have already bought the nitroplanes 64mm sport jet,, and the hobby lobby 70mm jet,, but for the low wing.

Nothing wrong with a low wing. The goofy swooped up tips would keep you from digging in a tip on landing and I always mount the hardware on top of wing for belly floppers. Plus that one has linkage protectors anyway..

I found them on the New Item page. Have you got your account set up to show only the European warehouse items?

When I first saw the comments of going 4S on this little jet, it blew my mind and left me in a blank!

What battery weight/capacity would you be using on a 4S setup?


I intend to attempt using 3S 2200mah 183grams battery on the stock setup.

Actually it was showing all location ... but after I click on it and change location I can see the new items ...

4s 2200 40C. Should be a rocket!! Of course I'll fly it stock first.....for a day or two.

As far as the low wing. I have the Habu on 5s and it's perfectly fine as a belly lander. Just mix in some spoilerons and that will help slow it down just enough to allow for nice landings.

Spolerons works great on my T-45 64mm and 50mm (the 64mm look more a glider then a jet with spoilerons activated) ... maybe for the Stinger it could be needed also for hand launch ... on paper is very light ... just 540g RTF ... if the text is correct ...

ps: Anyhow ... even if it is looking nice ... I will not go for it ... I need some dis-intoxication from HK & PayPal clicking ... and ... 700mm is looking too small for my taste

I just saw this jet and I think I somehow fell in love with the blue version. As soon as anybody receives it and tries it with a 2200mah 3s, please tell us what the performance is like!

How fast would you guys think this is capable of stock?
As quick as HAbu or more ?

On 3s it'll be a good 60-70mph little EDF. With the correct 4s setup it'll push 100mph.

The nice thing about Sport EDF's is they carry their speed very well. I have the Evader, Habu, and SAPAC Viperjet. You can Split-S and cut the throttle and scream across the field with little or no power. Hopefully the Stinger will be the same.

The stock HAbu is under 80MPh correct?

My Habu is on 5s and everybody says it'll only do 93mph tops.
