Hi, I have some problem with my YS-X6. When I power it up I get one red blink and then it constantly green. What that mean? :/

i have replaced into another hex frame, then could fly very stable .
about 97m altitude
does anybody know how much is distance with data link ?

You should get about 2-2,5km range it all depends on intalation where you place data link and im sure with a modified 900mhz antena you could extrend range a bit.

But with a multirotor i wound fly it more than 100m from me, multirotors is to much power hungry.

Where can I set voltage in GCS?

I have a lot of trouble...nothing works.. So far I have conected the heli (Y6) to my android but I cant start the motors.. Something is wrong, but I dont know what..

yes, they have already developed something like that in the past. There's a video buried somewhere in this thread and youtube. I just can't find it.

They are preparing to launch the YS-X4 so the OSD is probably not their priority right now but it should be on their to do list.

By the way, I replied to your message in youtube.

Make sure you stick inputs is right left is left and right is right mine also do it then i find out the stick inputs was wrong you can check it on the tablet or pc

Chaps, I apologise for not accessing and updating this forum thread with the issues that I have been experiencing on my YS-X6 rig...I decided to try out, as part of an action plan, a number of 'things' in a reasonable logical sequence (based on my available time, available money to purchase spares/replacement parts, good weather, etc., etc.) I have now just returned from my small test area (my back garden) following an exact replica of the original problems...ie...White light indicating a low voltage, extremely short flight times, batteries warming up dramatically and swelling...all these details are elswhere on this thread. This last test was with the YS-X6 installed in a DJI F450 frame with its own built-in power harness, Tiger motors, 3s batteries, a diiferent set of DJI 30A opto ESCs...all told, absolutely everything was different (many parts were brand new) apart from the YS-X6. Just to note that prior to this test I also flew this frame/motor/esc set-up with a DJI Naza and easily gained 12-15 minute stationary/hover flight times...therefore I new that apart from the FC I was using all the kit worked perfectly...The first volts alarm went off at approximately 1 minute 20 seconds into the flight. I then tried out a second battery and gained similar results. The laptop indicated on the data screen that the volts had dropped to 10.8 volts in that time period.

I have spent considerable time, effort, money, etc. from this fairly naff experience. Although I gain many ideas and views from this forum unfortunately I have no access to other diagnostics other than reading (sometimes in- between) the flight record lines, therefore I am limited to having, what seems to be at the time, reasonable assumptions and making decisions based upon this and my other limitations detailed above. At this time now I just cannot see this problem being anything else other than something purely and directly related to the YS-X6. I guess now that I am in the unknown territory of making contact with the manufacturers in the hope that they live up to expectations and offer a good acceptable level of after-sales service...anyone got any other ideas of what I should do ?

I have finished carrying out flights on two seperate brand spanking new 4s 5000mAh batteries...First flight - ran for around 8-9 minutes. Not that efficient for 4 x TIGER MT2216/12 900KV motors but they and the battery ran cool until the yellow LED lit up at supposedly 3.65 volts per cell....Second flight - ran for around 4-5 minutes until the yellow LED lit up with similar results to the first flight. Strangely enough around an hour after the flights battery 1 is sitting at around 3.8 - 3.9 volts per cell (48-52%) and battery 2 is sitting at the lower end of 3.8 volts per cell (42-46%). Also strangely enough the flight playback HJ file shows the voltage slowly going down to about 15.4 volts for the battery and then suddenly in one jump down to 14.6 volts for the battery which in turn sets off the battery alarm and the YS-X6 voltage alarm yellow LED set for 3.65 volts per cell.

Hi David, unfortunately your problem will be off their troubleshooting flowchart.
I would save that frustration and not contact them yet..


What battery charger do you have?
Does it show how many mAh it put back into the battery after a charge?
Voltage is pretty accurate for accessing a Lipo's state of charge it is not the full story.

How easy is it to re install the Naza into the test F450 frame?


If you are up for more testing that is.
Keen to get to the bottom of your problem.

I am not sure what a FC can be doing that would make it use more power than required for the same outcome.
