I suppose that Ebifuryaa fitted plates on front edges of the sidesfloats (sidesponson, side sponsons?) not to suffer from water.
This way is another one. As mentioned Junger Be #10 in this thread, water goes up along fuselage surface (as represented “overflowing” in #10) before planing. This causes hard to move planing. To prevent this situation Junger Be attached sidestabs or plasticstrips; show #10 pictures. I wonder plasticstrips are needed every float. |

Thanks a lot for your information and your opinions. Using a wing-leveler, I agree with you that rate-gyro is the best, too. Nowadays rate-gyro’s weight is 30 gram or so. This means we can put smaller plane on. But none of our member wants to mount it, because of our principle; more simple and less cost. I think this judgment limits under 700 gram plane, as like smaller ICON-A5. Of course for bigger one is no problem. I’d like to mount rate-gyro for large ICON-A5. Thank you for your advice. Also I’ve been enjoying R/C heli around two decades, electric and gas, from 450 class to .90 class (for F3C competition). So I think I know well which item is better for use. (Sorry a little bit proud )BTW a handle name “seeker-shige or seeker” is also me, sorry too. Those footages were edited by me. Please vote those footages good!. ![]() Thank you. shigetyann |

![]() The problem I am seeing though is during low speed taxi, I can't seem to turn the Icon into the wind for take-off. And by wind, I mean even a 5mph wind! The wing will also dig into the water causing more of a problem in trying to turn or even accelerate to take-off speed. I assume this system will only work once the plane has started to move a bit? Or will the prop wash cause the wings to stabilize at very slow speed?
