Whats best for this fan, a outrunner, or a inrunner?

It depends on the engine and its cost.
A good outruner engine competes with a good engine inruner. We can not compare a Turnigy L2825, 97 g. 13.26 dlls against a het 2-25, 110 g of 70 dlls. Neither the massive turnigy T600, 373 g, 59 dlls. vs Neu 1521, 474 g, 320 dlls. Manuel V. |

Well just joined the 12 blade club , order on the way . This thing should give my BL32 and 6S a good workout .

Ordered one to test as well, should get within 12-30 days per my shipping receipt.

Nothing is cooler than a super quiet EDF, IMO.
 It's tempting to put something in the exhaust stream to make even more "wooosh" but that's the model airplane equivelant of putting a baseball card in the spokes of your bicycle...and probably tacky.  I ordered one up myself...I also have my first 10 Blade on the way so I'm kinda late to this party. I'll share whatever I learn as well. |

I put a piece of foam in my thrust tube to make more whoosh. Couldnt tell a performance difference

I think that white noise can be created easily at the intake as well, but I don't know which would affect performance more.
