Help!
Rcb microjet?

edit: IT is RBC
I recently acquired a NIB RBC Microjet at a swap meet.
I have never owned a DF plane before and was looking for suggestions.
I am an avid pilot and can take any speed this plane could produce, but I want to keep it light with smaller high C 3 cell batteries
The only threads I could find were from years ago with inferior motors and batteries.
It appears Wicked motor in the 5400-6000kv range (for 3s) would be nice but what fan?
The plans show Graupner 480 and Wemotec "mini". The Wemotec on the plans appears larger than the 50mm unit on Don's site.
The plans list a 500gm auw with "480" unit and 8-10 500-700 mah cells. (back in the year 2000)
Sounds heavy and Im sure I can shave a couple ounces off, but my goal is to achieve a very favorable thrust to weight ratio.
Any ideas what the current wemotec 50mm units put out in thrust on the 5400 and 6000 kv motors, 3s? Suggestions and alternatives would be highly appreciated.
Mike

My mistake.. it is RBC. These are not my pics..
Also, after cruising the site, a pusher prop application may be in order. Im open, but I really like the hum and woosh sounds edfs make. I just want to make sure that whatever I choose has "rocket away" hand-launch thrust available.

What is the wingspan? How fast do you want it to go? 80mph? Do you want to fly on 3S lipo or stick to certain size ESC?

Thank you for responding. Wanting 100++. 19" span with 17.75" inner cord and 7" outer.
Max thickness is 1" inner cord and 1/2" outer. Lenth is 20".
3s 1250 45c, 3s 1300 30c, and 3s 2250 45c fits. 30a esc.
Battery tray is 7x1.6" (the lenth of the hatch in the pic), with more room for esc aft of battery.
I would prefer smaller batteries but Im concerned about the edf weight in the rear.
I would post a pic of the plans but my card reader is shot.

This setup in my A-4 went about 95 mph on 3S.
Wicked 5400
Wicked 55mm fan
Pentium 40 ESC

You will need to install an outlet tube behind the fan unit to reduce the diameter to the required size for speed.
