"5EZPx2" McDonnell Douglas A4E Skyhawk
Or what the boys at MCD' called Heinemann's Hot-Rod after her designer Frank Heinemann.
I roughed this one out a month ago and with Thanksgiving over I completed her, then glide tested her this afternoon. I hope to maiden her tomorrow if the rain holds off and the Wind is predicted to be 10 to 15 mph. Not optimal but manageable.
Here is her glide test done in a 5 mph wind was it Not the best due to the wind.
I chose to model the the two seat "E" variant.
SHe is 48" long with a 32" wingspan and is powered by a Grayson Hobby SMJv2 spinning a 6x5 prop with a 50A ESC and 2200mah 3S Li-Po and a three channel setup ( Ailerons and Elevator only for now).
