AFA Weapon pylon racer.

Does anyone have any experience of the AFA Weapon pylon racer shown here ?
I can find nothing on the net about them but they look reasonable for the price.

Fibre Reinforced Plastic: I think it's FRP=Fiberglass in common term?
It should be Fiber Resin Plastic though.

Until someone gets one we won't know but I doubt it's fiberglass.

Unfortunately there's not much for that price in the UK. Dynamic 400 costs $170 and a Voodoo is $300 here!

Ok, it may not be top quality when it arrives but it's 1/3 the price of everything else I can get and it's only going to buzz around a field, not race. I expect many people on a budget will be interested in this if it flys OK.

It looks like an awesome plane for the price. Nice sexy lines too. The less expensive planes in a category can offer something that the expensive ones can't; less stress and cheaper cost of unnexpected "learning opportunuities". Go For It!

FRP usually means fiberglass/epoxy (fiber reinforced plastic) so that would mean pretty standard fuse material for the price range.

That's my video..
I rebuilt the wing..though the original wing is strong too..
The fuselage is a bit heavy..AUW is aruond 460g with 7.4V-2200mah LiPo.
The performance is good enough for it's price(only 1/3 compare to ordinary sp-400 pylon racer here..). Flying chacteristic similar to Slipso400
Not a bad plane..

Watchout the elevator control linkage..Has to make some modify to make it move smooth..

Thanks for the pictures and information Tim. It does look very good value for money. Will a 2100mah 3 cell Lipo fit in the body?
