Oh he!! yeah!!!

Huge B5 fan and the Whitestar is the bomb! There was a theread a while back about an unidentified flying object. It was based on a foam glider and had lines similiar to the Whitestar. Let me see if I can find the link....

I haven't found the thread yet but check out this link and the awesome video:
http://www.iwatoyco.com/default.asp#15

Hopefully this will jog someones memory and they can post the link. The thread was about an early prototype of this plane. Its based on the X-stream gliders. It reminded me so much of the Whitestar.

Looks like the mako will be out in November. They are talking about taming down the performance from the video though.

I'm inspired. I'm going to try it. Probably wont do it until the weekend though. I figure I will start with a profile glider and if that works try a layered full bodied model. I'll post pics when I get something together.

I can't believe nobody else is interested.

Yes! I knew sombody else was in!! I found some 3d models online, blew them up and printed em out last night. I am going to cut a profile model out tonight to see if it will glide. I will post pics.

Yeah, I got an Ultrafly SU27 im putting on hold to work on this. The thought of a Whitestar whizzin around the neighborhood is just to tempting.
