Sergey...that sounds about perfect, other guys have their Global Hawk's flying on 350 watts & since I'm going to be carrying a video camera I'll need a little extra!

And are you getting the HET 3W's from http://www.highendrc.com/index_eprod...products_id=28 ?
Or does someone have these at a better price?

That would make a super scaled landing! Fly it lite and she should float on down as a the real one does.

Nacelle size is not necessarily indicative of fan size. There are different designs in the cowling forward of the fan to optimize flow in to the engine as well as providing ground clearance in below wing applications( such as the 737).

The the cowling further aft is shaped to fit the accesory unit that drives a hydraulic pump, electric generator, starter unit, etc..

I looked at my Ming 737 and compared it to the 737 I fly for a living and it looks scale to me.

Vertical stab is filled with lightweight spackling and covered with first layer of minwax WBPU.

I also did an acetone test on EPO foam. Acetone does not melt the foam but when exposed to sanded foam acetone bloats it. It means many of automotive fillers can not be used on unprotected foam.

A couple of these would look and sound sweet in Ming's 737, with about 700-1000w each.

Yea, but how good would these look in an Airliner or maybe a 70mm A-10...these have got to be the Sexiest EDFs out there! NavalWarfare has one hidden in his Sweet Exceed F/A-18.

I am going to substitute gray with shadows of blue. Or pink

The engines were blowing up before I balanced them. Vibration was horrible!

If those rotors are similar to the sickle\df70 (or 90) they would sound great, I did a low rpm test in an LX F16 last night and it does sound like a really small turbine when used with a high cog motor at low RPM and really good balancing.

If those are DF70\90 rotors then where are you guys getting them from?

I can't find one anywhere.

Where can a guy buy one of these Windrider 737s? The Windrider website led me to Atlanta hobby...but the Atlanta hobby online store serch for the 737 was a no go.

Sanded first layer of WBPU and applied second layer. This time diluted with surfactant (windows cleaner).
