Same here, never a failure in the air even with V1 hubs, and that includes minor ground strikes. Only ever broke one on a ground strike (Knock on wood!)

283g of weight thats crazy. Id rather go to a larger lipo then add dead weight. Ill have to try the 100mm - 110mm mark and see how she flies compared to the stock manual cg. My new wings have been he since a few wks ago and am slowly getting her set for hopefully a end of july test flight.

I am going to simply test the 25% of Mac rule vs 100mm and 120 .
25% of mac has never ever steered me wrong

Nearly finished mine.

Put an eagle A3 in her along with a talon 90 ESC and Hitec servos for the main flight controls. Will also replace the grub screws in the main gear with shouldered M4's as per Rich.

Dry brushed the cylinders, magnetos and painted the crankcase!

Sorry for the late reply...
Will prob test her out in normal mode first then switch over to 3d.

Oh and with a 5000mah lipo at 100mm CG I have to add around 150g's to the nose. Will hopefully get her out to the field this Sunday.
