1909 Demoiselle
Not sure if this build log has been done before this is my first build from balsa. Sig has done a great job with the instructions on this kit.

Good luck with this build. It was designed by the late Scott Christensen, IIRC, who was one of the finest designers of micro scale models in the business.

Nice to see the old Demoiselle... well this is the indoor and micro, your Demi is not an micro but definetely it was designed as an indoor airmodel

Yes, Scott Christensen designed one of the most beautiful aircraft ever seen in the air, when he created the Sig Demoiselle. Setting on the ground it appears to be a ugly duck, but once in the air, it becomes a thing of grace and beauty. I know you will enjoy all the effort you put into your Demoiselle many times over. I am agree with you Ken, there is nothing better than a Demoiselle flying slow in front of you. Here are some photos of mine, hope you like it.

I love your wheels. Did the weight of that pilot affect the balance of the plane dramatically?
