Got the Naza off the ground with some backup props. It will be fun to compare to APM. First impressions felt a bit different coming off the ground, but feels good in the air.

Yes, only one. French regulations.

You can set a height limit on a WK-M
or you can just use the throttle stick!!

It will probably be implemented on the next Naza firmware update too.

Sorry don't mean to get off topic but one thing I'd really like to see them include in Naza is adjustable RTH height. You could consider this a feature, but I really just consider this a safety that should be there. It's hard to say that 20m is safe in all conditions...maybe most but not all. Aside from that, looks nice.

Ecilop is flying again but I am still a bit sketchy on takeoff now. I don't know if it just feels different or if something is up. I've flipped it a few times which sucks because I have never done that before...gotta figure out what to tune to get off the ground smoother and avoid decending while in motion at low altitude. It seems more prone to issues right now if it gets hung up on grass or whatever at takeoff. I do like the features. It's a bit simpler than APM, but APM is really good too in it's own regard. I can see why people like Naza for AV though. I can tell it is going to be solid once I get it dialed in. APM is capable of long UAV missions which is awesome, but I wasn't using my Ecilop that way so I am saving that for my F450. In the air, the Naza is already pretty tight. It's hard to compare because they are both solid, just different, but the Naza position hold does feel good. It'll take a bit more time to really get a feel.

I never got to the simple mode on APM yet, but I like the course lock on Naza a lot.

What is good motor/prop setup for ecilop easy if using naza as fc and 4s battery.
It is going to lift nex-5n and 16mm pancake.

In hexacopters I have been using ntm 2836 750kv motors with apc 12x6e props.
Are those tiger motors much more reliable?

Since quadcopter has no redundancy, I am seeking quality bulletproof motors that can be used with 4s.

Can someone recommend a good balanced motors with quality bearings.
That 750kv and apc 12x6e is nice setup. Those e props won't broke in air, the hub is so beefy. Even better if there is a 12" props which have 2 bolt holes for fastening.

Should I seek some pancake style motors or tiger motors?
