Well here's a few photo's of Sunday's action at TEVS. Ryan brought his new Libelle to fly and I got a chance to fly it. Very easy flying. I managed to almost speck out my 2Vix 2 and just happened to look at the flashing battery light and it was flashing red so I had to dive my glider down to a landing. I had quick charged the Tx's battery after I had left it on over night and it didn't fully charge. Will wall wart charge it when I get home. Lot's of lesson's,ugh.

Today, Saturdays action, no photos

I heard , there was a souped up Bird of Time that went up the line.

At 46.5 oz I understood it was awesome..

Any other pictures?

Well I thought the regular's would be at TVES today so it was just Kaycee his dad and me. KC was mostly flying his Extra 300, a small Carbon Cub and the new micro Radian. I tried to get a Doug Montgomery R/E DLG squared away but with little success. Then I brought out a former SAGE member's Oly IIS. I got a solid 10min flight after I removed about 3oz's of lead out of the nose. I have some more work to do on it to lighten the whole air frame. When I got it in a thermal it climbed very well. I was using my 2m high start to get it up. And I almost screwed up by not having a locking screw on the servo wheel. I went back to the car and scrounged one from a handy spare servo I had in the back of the car.TTYL Dave.

It was good to meet you all today. This is Nick with the (impure) e flight mystique. I had a blast and I think I'm hooked. Next glider will be a pure sailplane, although I am really liking the mystique!

FWIW, you guys inspired me to go pure. I can't afford one of those $2k ships right now, but I have been eyeing the Pulsar series of gliders and they have this really nice 2M version. It's big and strong enough for winch launches, yet small and light enough for hand launching. Long story short, it's in the mail!

Thanks. I'm going to try for Maxwell tomorrow morning. Just the Mystique. Pulsar won't be ready until maybe next weekend.
