Hi Everybody, I have always wanted to build a model of the Shorts SC1 which was an early British vtol research aircraft, after seeing one in a museum several
years ago in the UK.
I was planing to have a go at the vtol part by using one or two 90mm
edfs and a 70mm for foward flight, the orignal had four lift jets and one jet
for foward flight, if I can't get it to lift vertical then I will be just as happy to fly
it via the wing.
The big problem is that I can't find any good drawings for the CS1, all I can find is a 3view, has anybody seen or have any drawings for one of these any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been thinking the same for a while. I have done alot of research and i have came across the attached files, some of which even have cross section info so should be easy to build from(but the langauge is russian i think).
I hope this thread is stil active after nearly 2 years , let me know what your plans are to build it, i was thinking of 4 70mm fans to try and keep it scale..
