What's yours called, HRama? It has nice scale looks. Is there enough clearance for the wheels when it's climbing things?

Mine's a Yokomo Challenger CL 1.9 - the manufacturer says it's 12th scale because it has 1.9" rims, but I think it's more like 1:16. I chose it mostly for the size but also because I like the semi scale looks of the body shell.

There's a 380 brushed motor on each axle. The back one tends to stall if you try to climb something that's just too steep. It's a fun toy though.

Here is a hummer scaler I made for my dad, JSS3 on here. Losi Micro 4x4 woth rear cross brace removed, front bumper removed. Hummer body is off an old maisto diecast car kit which has been disassembled and drilled to fit the micro 4x4. Enjoy and please post your comments.

Yes it is metal, Andy. It came off one of those "assembly line kits from toys r us with the metal body and plastic all else.

A link to the toy would be good too, if they still list it. I don't know if the UK TRU would stock it, but you never know. It's a nightmare finding anything on their website, and the pages take forever to load.

So is the thing underneath the 1:24 Losi Micro 4x4 Trail Trekker or is it some other variant? Would the same body fit the 1:24 Losi Micro Crawler?

Mine's bigger . But size isn't everything, it's how you use it.

If you have a subwoofer, the music kicks pretty good! My favorite part is at 2:30 in.
