Dynam 38.5" Cessna 182 "Scout".

I just saw this for the first time and, seeing as how it's currently on preorder at Banggood, I'm assuming it's new! Didn't see a thread on it here yet.

Wingspan: 980mm
Overall Length: 767mm
Wing Area: 13.7d㎡
Wing Loading: 24.5g/d㎡
Servo: 7g x 3pcs
Speed Controller : 18A brushless
Motor: Brushless Outrunner BM2313A-KV1850
Battery: 11.1v 850mah 15C Lipo battery
Flying Weight: 335g

Looks like a great little parkflyer! Love that it's generally accurate proportion-wise to a 182, and that it has clear windows.

Here's the only other picture of it - from the Dynam website. Strange looking wheel pants. Nonetheless, I'll have to have one when they're available - I don't want to miss any Cessna 172-182 model.

Here's another.

It says it only has 3 servos. But it's obviously full-house. One servo for ailerons? I doubt it's using bellcranks or flexi-rods. Maybe just a typo.

Humm... Hard to tell. But at less than 12oz AUW it's pretty light for a 1000mm class foamy.

Here's my dorky looking balsa World Models 182. 1030mm span it's similar in size. But at 645g AUW it's almost twice as heavy - and I've always thought of it as being a flyweight.

And this would be another similar competitor. My FMS 1100 class (actually 1020mm) Cessna 182 - probably the most accurate small 182 I've seen. It's AUW is 686g. So the Dynam Scout is going to be plenty light.

At $139 it seems a bit pricey for its size. The 950mm Easy Sky Wilga 2000 and Yak 12 with flaps cost significantly less. Still, have pre-ordered!

Given that it's so specific on the battery requirements, I wonder if the battery's included? Could explain why it's a bit on the pricey side.

We have just unloaded our Dynam container "Down under" for our Aussie customers.

Goes together very easily and nicely, screw here and there and you are done. Maiden flight this SAT at our local club.

Will be on our website soon, we are selling it $149 PNP (Aussie dollar) approx USD$105

will take a video of it this Sat and report back here.

Just a one wire/cable system. we will be testing its WOT power on 2s and then see if a 3s will run her

I'm very interested to find out more! At $105, it's definitely going on my list. I need it like I need a hole in my head but it's just a neat-looking little airplane.

For US-based Folks -- looks like Motion has it now

http://www.motionrc.com/dynam-scout-...-wingspan-pnp/

Waiting to see what the build and flight reviews look like, but I like the idea here of a 38" w/s tricycle gear grab-N-go plane... might be kind of a trike counterpart to the Areas Gamma 370 Pro... and so easy to transport with the 'tween micro-and-full sizing.

Also very interested in the results of the Hobbyzone.au 2S/3S testing -- it would be nice to be able to change the personality from lazy/relaxing to a bit sporty with a battery swap.

I guess you would have to add at least a one cent purchase to get the free shipping from Motion RC with this? Still, it's priced pretty close to the larger Dynam Cessna 182 ("Sky Trainer"), which is one of my fave small foam 182's.

Still some conflicting info on the aileron actuation. Separate servos or pushrod/cable? Also, Motion's parts pictures show a lite ply built up motor box. Unusual at this price point but nice. And what's with those half-pants on the mains? Funky.
