Agreed Snowman, Thats why you need to build a new plane from a kit every season it takes the edge off

Now I'd have to vote for K50's shop also hearing all that and thank God that photo is on the wall we can't see LOL

My favorite setup was actually at my old house in the nice 2 story Garage I built, all my plane stuff was in the back part on the 1st floor where the recording studio was eventually going to be for easy unloading and loading, I think I had to walk all of 10 -15 feet of levelness. That is something I truly miss, this was only seaonal though as in the winter I was in the basement to build, and that basement always had water on the floor and had to keep your head low, half dirt and cement floor, the old boulder type foundation. but was very toasty warm with the furnace being in there but you could only access the basement from outside.

Now I have to walk up from the basement, through the house, out the door down the 4 steps, across a sidewalk, through the garage, and then into the van and If I bring 4 or 5 planes that is about 6-10 trips like that with all the gear and planes needed. sometimes it takes me about 35 -40 minutes to load and the same to unload. great exercise though including the corn walks of shame lol but I have to admit its nice having a heated basement I can access from Inside for building projects in the winter

If I could get my car into my crumbling garage I could load directly from the workshop, but the garage has to have a new roof and car door one of these years first!

Oh, and Waldo, CONGRATULATIONS on quitting smoking........how's that going for ya? When you mentioned how long it takes to load your vehicle.......I remembered that you had said that you'd be quitting soon.....and that was awhile back.....

O no K49 that's just not right. LOL
Well I havn't been back long from an errand, but I got the twist hung up.
It took for ever for me to find the dremel bit. Now while searching for it wouldn't you know I found my metric prop reamer. I was so over joyed at finding it.
In my moment of joy I felt just a bit of sorrow for LT Dan, alias Kerwin49.
As you see he has such a well organized shop, that he will never experience the joy of finding somthing that he'd though he'd lost forever.

Waldo, things have improved for her simply with the major surgeries are believed to be completed. I think there is still a lot of little things to do yet and she is going to be there a while.

I think with them only being 20 years young, it's the only thing that saved them. Had it been on of us at our age, not so much.

Cool looking planes kerwin

My wife is not alowed to clean up my shop but does collect the
Empties

Mine real disaster but planes have good organized storage

My house is big enough for dedicated just planes and some wings
In crawl space are rest of wings

I am real collector of planes
Some have never been flown
And some still in boxes

Now I fly just ez glider pro and no 3d fuel planes

I find good safe place to fly but only hand launch
And rough tight landing

Is it possible to make twist 40 with 46 ax os engine into hand launch plane?
And beef it up to belly land

Hand launch twist 40 tips and suggestions would be cool

DOG.........it's great to hear that there's continued improvement in your kids health!

David22.......there's no sign of you giving up on the hobby anymore is there? You had me worried there for awhile.......Man your videos are awesome!

I have to say that Kerwin's shop is wicked awesome........not as expansive and organized as brother Waldo's, but divine in it's own right!

DR........it's a sure sign you've become to busy when you forget where you put everything in your shop! Dude, at your age you're supposed to start working less and playing more!

Plow........dude, you living up to your word and not spending as much time here or what?????

I am really twisted and addicted to this hobby

That os 46 just my fab engine I just cannot say enough about that great design

I am no great builder but enjoy arf plane kits

But bear bones so I choose components

Like os 46
Did ever say that is easy to start, runs forever with recomended prop, great on fuel, can make twist 40 win inverted flat spin contests

I will try to make new video but I become fat and old lazy man

But fly rc lots
