Every competitor in F3P-Sport class ...

got a free Scorpion F3P competiton motor! Considering that the registration fee was just €15.-, that's an excellent deal .

Gernot just confirmed all my observations/assumptions. Please be aware that this is not a recommended setup, as it runs outside specs. You really need to know what you are doing.

Thanks for confirming Jurgen. Gernot's throttle management must be superb (well we know it is) I think Axi will enjoy some more sales of motors as more people experiment with 3s There are going to be a few motors glowing red I have no doubts

Judging by the results, Lukas Bißlich - 15th. place in F3P-Sport - was the "worst" pilot of this year's event. Watch the video and you will see, that Lukas is not a bad pilot, but the level of competition was obviously rather high - even in "Sports class":

DM Indoor Kunstflug 2012 F3P-Sport - Lukas Bißlich (2 min 5 sec)

He is very good indeed, easily much better than me. I also find it interesting that your "Sports" program seems to be quite close to the "Advanced" program used here in Finland, just a tad easier, whereas the Finnish "Sports" program is a real beginner's sequence.

Do you have a sequence for beginners in Germany or do they have to jump straight into "Sports" class?

F3P-Expert and F3P-Sport are equivalent to F3P-A and F3P-B. While at the German Indoor Aerobatics Championship F3P-Sport is the easiest sequence flown, there is also F3P-C and F3P-D for rookies and beginners.

F3P-C for example will be flown at the Rhein-Neckar-Pokal on 8th December 2012.

Please find Aresti for F3P-Sport, plus score sheet and maneuver descriptions (with judging aids) attached - in German only, but there are many online translators available.

Jürgen

P.S.: If necessary, I will translate the score sheet with the maneuver descriptions into English.
