I was there Sunday. It looks pretty cool, I even snapped a photo of it and bought one of their little camera quads for my daughter:

Do you recommend the dual receiver setup?

Yes, with a large gasoline airplane I always prefer to use dual redundancy setups.

Initial impressions with the kit:

-HUGE leaps and bounds improvement from their previous kits, tons of high quality hardware included, very extensive
-Vibrant color scheme, should have no issues seeing this in the air (not that I fly high enough anyways..)
-Extremely well packed in the box
-Initial inspection of parts fit is superb, will need to get into it more to find out everything else
-Improved landing gear assembly and fuel tank is a very welcome surprise

Some other notes that some may want to take:

-Always go over the covering BEFORE you begin to assemble the airplane. No airplane is impervious to the huge climate changes that the containers go through when being shipped here so always iron everything down to be certain. I'm never worried about wrinkles on an airplane fresh out of the box, that's totally normal no matter who you buy from.

-Always double check parts fit and finish before assembling so you can tweak and correct any minor problems you come across. Sofar, my kit seems to be immaculate, aside from maybe some adhesive I need to wipe off from misc. parts taped in place

-Always check your hardware package, you can compare it to mine if you would like. My kit is very complete.

-I always go over all of the plywood to plywood glue joints with thin CA to ensure the wood is sufficiently bonded. It's not really necessary, but it gives you an added measure of security and peace of mind before you start assembling your airplane and put components over areas that can't be reached. I may also brush some thinned epoxy on over the entire motor box assembly to completely fuel proof it.

As far as components like the carbon fiber servo arms, you can opt to use them if you would like but I will be opting to use 1.5" aluminum arms throughout.

That's all for now...

My biggest hurdle is acquiring equipment. Should have servos by the end of the month, engine sometime in February I am hoping..

This is going to be a parts log for myself so I know what I need to gather or buy, but please feel free to use this on your own aircraft!

-Desert Aircraft DA70, x1
-Falcon 24x9 propeller, x1
-4" spinner, red to match, x1
-Fromeco Sahara 6.0v regulator, x1
-Fromeco Wolverine switch, x1
-Fromeco Badger switch, x1
-Thunder Power 2s 1900 RX pack, x3
-Hitec HSB-9485SH servo, x5
-Hitec HSB-9465SH servo, x1
-Hitec Maxima 6 receiver, x2
-48" HD Twisted extension, x2
-12" HD extension, x4
-SWB 1.5" Futaba spline arm, x4
-SWB 1" Futaba spline arm, x1
-SWB 4" offset Futaba spline arm, x1
-Secraft easy couplers, x1
-Secraft wing bolts, x1

I think that's about it. I'll give the factory fuel dot a try and if I don't like it I can always change it out later. Having other nice hardware already in the box really saves on cash, it's a very comprehensive kit.

Nice detail in the pics. Do you know if the DA-70 will fit without cutting holes in the cowl for the plugs?

Is it light enough to electrify? Those are some interesting looking control horns. I don't think I've ever seen them like that.
