obonfa, I didn't see the pito tube in photos of your Tornado install. Did you connect it? What size battery are you using?

I disabled the airspeed in Tornado parameters, because I couldn't find a cool place for it, maybe install on a wing, but every time you have to disassemble the wings you will need to unplug the pitot tube.. I thought about some piece of tube to do a silicon tube join near the wings fit, and to not affect the aerodynamics I may to hollow the wing foam to extend the pitot away from propeller thrust, I'm not really intended to do this right now, and I decide go without it. Sincerely I do not feel miss it, and Tornado works pretty well.

Bettery is a 1300mah 3s in maiden flight that allowed me to fight 1 hour and 25 min, but fits also a 2200mah one for long distance flights or windy days.

Hey guys,

how is everyones BnF/PnP working out for them?
sadly i have been in constant contact with horizon since purchasing mine last week.

i am somewhat disappointed in the out of box build quality. really so far the only thing that is keeping me happy is their fantastic customer service. I am not enthralled with having to repair a brand new airplane tho.

out of the box, the ailerons were extremely warped, and within the first 5 tosses to trim elevator out, an aileron servo stripped. i went to pull it out tonight and the tape covering the servo was doing more to hold it in than the glue was. now i am double checking the glue job on all of the servos just in case.

Johnzm,
I got my radian about six months ago and, like you was very displeased with the out of the box quality of the plane. one aileron was half untapped. the other aileron so stiff that I was afraid to move it for fear of breaking the foam. There were also issues with the fit of the wing into the fuselage.

Once I got the initial problems worked out, rerouted the pushrod tubes and reinforced and stiffened the tail, it has been a good trouble free plane.

Never got to fly it much and just don't have space/time, that must be Einstein's fault.

If I do ever get the time I'll have to buy another

p.s. loving the twin. How about a triangle formation that goes flat for soaring

OK I didn't like the idea at first but now that's cool, I may have to build the twin fuse at some point

Be careful about stock rudder and elevator servos. My elevator went out luckily on the ground for no reason. Changed to hs 81's.
