Ed is looking at a good way to view ballasting. At the WSM this past fall, before what I thought would be my last flight Saturday, my 65oz Tragi was going to be carrying a solid string of brass, 20 or so ounces. Nearly 30% of empty wieght, and the flight before that was with 16oz. and on final, the ship backed up, under control, about a hundred feet. Wildest thing I have ever seen happen, and it was a miracle that it stayed in the flight envelope.
