I was an early adopter of DDD.
What A compete waste or Time Money and Effort that proved to be.. Bitter? Yup!
Want a diesel ? BUY a genuine one and save needless frustration and expense.

I had the .049 version and it worked fine.
The larger ones work even better. Most folks are too inept to get a lawn mower to run let alone a glow motor or a diesel.

I didn't have much luck with the Cox conversions although I didn't buy any of the beefed up parts.
I've been very satisfied with the heads made by DDD for larger engines. Many strongly build glow engines make excellent diesels. What distinguishes a "genuine diesel" from a conversion? In most cases, they're just cruder. Take for example the PAWs and even they are also sold in glow versions.
My only gripe with DDD is that the range is limited. The best diesels were the ones he used to make heads for such at the Mokis.
