Here's a great tip I just ran into. Do we have a listing on anywhere RCG of fying tips?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...TCfjUVVo#t=281

I've already lost two 180qx's and have an unhealthy fear of my Armattan flying off into the wild blue.

Cheers

Hey Guys here is one of my all time favorite flyers. I moved on in the natural evolution of the hobby and started on FPV projects and they take most of my time lately. So here it is Armattan CF 258 TRI

Armattan 258 CF Tricopter
Naze 32 Acro w/ breakout cable
RCX 1800kv ( stock Armattan motors).
Heavy duty metal gear servo ( new )
5 Pair Black 5 pair orange ( each pair have cc/cw )

the only thing you will need is your own receiver and your in the air.

PM if interested

That sounds very interesting Oz, would you share any of your build with us? A picture maybe?

Are you running GPS, which one, ease of setup?

Overall feel of model, general purpose and use?

This is really the first post I've run into anywhere using that FC, it would be nice to know a bit about it.

Cheers

I've been working on putting an APM 2.6 FC in my cf355. Just haven't had alot of time to set it up, been spending WAY too much time building, setting up and working on my sons r/c dirt oval and offroad race cars. Awesome FC with a lot off neat features. Hope to finish getting it set up in the next couple weeks.
Pretty easy to use with the "Mission Planner" program. Found some great step by step videos on Youtube that cover and explain basic setup and some advanced features (it's the series of 8 videos) https://www.youtube.com/user/Painless360/videos

Another config test vid, 2 x 2200mah in parallel, 9" carbon slowfly props.
10.5 minutes actual flight time left lipos at 3.72v
Heavier lipo payload helped the mild aileron wobbles from the previous vid, no gains changed since then.
Armattan CF FPV - 2x 3s 2200mah in parallel test. (10 min 3 sec)

This is Petey. 8 yr old Basset/Lab from a rescue shelter. he enjoys watching TV and Camel Lights. We had to surrender his sister Penny back to the rescue after she started growling and nipping at our newborn. it is a no kill rescue and she was rehomed and is very happy now with her new family. We worked with her for couple of months but she was too aggressive towards the baby. It was a sad day.

Cool pictures, guys. Great to see so many happy four-legged friends. Well, 3 legs is totally cool, too.

Best,
