RC Skydivers

I see that this forum is for paragliders and such. Is there anywhere in RCG to learn about or to discuss actual RC parachutes. As in.... Pack chute on back of jumper figure, take him to altitude under an rc plane, release the jumper from the rc plane, release the chute, and fly the jumper down?

We now have 10 members of our club who are flying RC jumpers and we're having a great time trying to hit a bullseye in the runway.

That would be awesome... do you have some pictures of the chutes and models etc? I assume its just a parafoil with an action figure with servo's for ams? Would love some info on this.

There is a guy in my old club, the Rivanna RC Club (VA) who is quite good and has multiple jumpers. You might contact this club and see what / who you can find out.

Titan... The jumpers' bodies are mostly plywood. Heavy duty mg servo on each arm. One small servo for the chute release. The chutes we are using are mostly made by a fellow in the Midwest. One member has actually sewed his own chute ( not easy to do).
One of our guys goes back to Muncie every year to a parachuting event. They sometimes have flyers from Europe who come over for the contest.
I have some pics saved on another pc. I'll get some posted when I can.

here are a few action shots taken by a terrific young lady who comes out to the field and documents our events. It would be nice if we had a forum on rcg where we could discuss the RC Skydiving part of the hobby.
