dragonOSD+v2 / RVOSD v5 are the single one's that really worth to buy in my opinion
OSD644 is good too, but it lacks a black border in the characters.

Now HobbyKing carries the Arkbird

The 150$ price range is sweet for a RTH OSD. That is max price for many flyers (me too) but there is not much to choose from sadly.
I like the Nova OSD (~120$) wich is cheapest - actually it's like RTH for free.
Then came the next version of Nova is Storm OSD for about 143$.
Now this Bird OSD is almost over the edge of that 150$ price target but 160$ is acceptable if it works.
We can have a nice working RTH OSD for 200$ but we wan't it 150$. The technology must develop.
Right now Storm looks like more real deal for cheaper price? Or wait a few months for this Bird OSD reviews to come in?

Is there much difference between this and the Storm OSD.

It will be interesting to follow. I downloaded the manual and it is quite well written. The product appears to be well thought out and constructed. I had a NOVA and it was right next to worthless besides being difficult to set up for a beginner. I got NO customer service from them.

I might just have to give this one a go...

Yeah, I have a few minor issues. The units are set to meters and I see no way to get to feet and miles. This could be a simple firmware fix soon though. I wrote about it on my site rcmanchild.com. Check it out.
