What was your opinion Mr. Kazu?

This is a very interesting project. It is nice to see somebody working a true bird wing shape .

Is it still being towed in 20140510TestFlight?
Does anybody know the control system? It looks like ailerons and CB shifting by pilot.
Any wing articulation? Can they dip those wing tips? I'd love to see them rely on wing articulation for control and lose the ailerons.

Reminiscent of early wright tests

OpenSky3.0 flies by a jet engine.
It is not pulled with a wire.
Control of a flight is weight movement of a pilot and Ailrons.
A joint of a wing does not move.

My Mowen is controled only by Ailrons.

Wiggle-Drive Puffin and Crank-Drive Puffin have the same flight performance.
However, a part of KJWiggle-Drive has worn down. And Puffin gets impossible to fly.
Therefore I changed Wiggle-Drive in Crank-Drive.

Kazu.
I am sorry about the problems with the Wiggle-Drive. Why dint you told me about the worn down. I have spare parts. If you send me a picture with the parts I can find out the problem. I have been tested all my Wiggle-Drive very hard and never have a problem. What kind of lubrication were you using? The KWD 2 is all mounted with ball bearings.

I think the above translates to: "Say hello to my little friend", the Al Pacino movie quote. I looked at both videos, crank and wiggler drives. It does look like the wiggle Puffin flies smootherBUT, The wiggle Puffin is flying from an embankment(hill) with a 4 meter/second wind blowing. That is called "Ridge lift" and its a big advantage to the wiggler. Maybe the wiggler would not fly well over flat ground.

Kjell, Since you built your Wiggle-Bird last year, will you show a video of that one flying?
