Had some fun combat today with an Assassin and three Popwings. One Popwing was totalled after nosing in, might have been bumped by my Assassin just before going in. Enjoy

Looks SOOO fun! Dang, I want an Assassin.

It's a blast! Just flying formation in a circle is fun. Not something you do with a bunch of balsa and monocoat beauties . We didn't get as aggressive as usual, I was the only Assassin and the guys are afraid of it . would have made Popwing confetti out of them . At the end of the video (off camera) one of the Popwings nosed in and was self totaled, I think a saw a very minor wing tip bump before it went in. The Assassin would have just bounced if it had been my plane. The Popwing was missing a major piece of the nose and both elevons were completely separated from the wing. Might be fixable but it was in really sad shape.

Yes that is close. Carson City is about 15-18 miles north of Gardenerville. The park is called Mill's Park and is right off hwy 395 and hwy 50 east. You would drive though Carson, passed the Capitol and the downtown casino's, about two traffic lights passed the "Nugget" casino, turn right on hwy 50 east (also called William's Street) toward Dayton. The park is a couple lights and on the right, you can't miss it. PM me if you are sure you will be there and I will see how the weather looks for it. Been pretty nice lately, 50's and little to no wind. If it is cold and windy there won't likely be any of us there. Will be there tomorrow too.

Most defiantly I will be there next weekend. My wife's brother lives out there and we are going for three days or so. If the weather is nice you can count on me to be out there at some time. I will look you up. Thanks for the directions

Lol "who got hit! Who got hit" that's great. Thanks for uploading the vids. I flew today with the old man and he cracked his all the way down the center and ordered a new one right on the field, lol. I stripped a servo but luckily I have upgrades waiting to be put in. Looks like light snow on Friday and good to go on Saturday. I'll try and be up there Friday afternoon, maybe be on the field Friday night at dusk or earlier. Saturday morning, I think I might be free too.

Nothing quite like some crash n burn, lol. Those guys seem like they are having fun. How often do you all combat?

Lately, every time there is more than just one of us at the park. Two more Assassins are on order and maybe then they won't all run and hide from mine . As you can see from the above video, it doesn't take much to kill a Popwing.

Went and met these guys...nice people...didn't "take me out of the sky" but was great fun watching them. Thanks for meeting me out there. Maybe next time it wont be so cold.
