Big Difference i think

These appear to have no holes drilled on the side to mount the landing gear to. I think diameter wise you're good but no landing gear mount could be solved with a central heli type landing gear.

Yup that's what i plan to do. Use a 600 heli skid
My carbon fiber legs are gone from hard hops on concrete anyways lol

Gents,

Found something when modeling up the talon tricopter. The geometry for the servo to tail linkage was a bit out.(see pic)

Installing a spacer (M3 washer) should help in correcting the error and reduce stress on you servo..

very cool, how did you draw this so accurate? Used SolidWorks?

Anybody experiement with a body on this tri. a 250/450 size canopy.

I see the IDEAFLY IFLY-4 Canopy as a possibility.

Just posted a description of how I fixed the sloppy tail servo mechanism.

Simply added TWO thrust bearings and it turned into a perfectly tight and stable mechanism:

Well done.. that was the next issue needing to be fixed.

I had been considering getting some thrust bearings. Good to see someone else tried it. Just ordered some.

Finally have my tri together, I'm very much a newbie, but the build went ok, just took my time. One small problem though, I can't get airborne. I'm giving it near full throttle before the right arm starts to lift then I have to stop as the props on the other sides are getting close to the ground.

Prop direction appears is ok, must be something simple I'm missing, any ideas?
