Sorry for so many questions but i am now regreting buying this jet even more. Trial fitting the air retracts, i wouldnt say excessive force was used, and the brass bullet connector on the side just snapped! Far out.

So i am hoping you guys may have a solution. The side connector doesnt seem to screw out like the end connector does.

Don't know on the retracts problem. I think that glassing the center joint is over kill. There isn't much stress at that point, and the carbon rod carries the load as you said. I've neverread aabout any of the Sniper series failing at that point. That mod has never made any sense to me.

What sort of wood did you use knife for your retract mod?

Most likely a press fit then- I'd pull of the side plate and give it a twist-- see what happens- You can't break it any more than it already is!

That is White Pine from. Home Depot I think. Any light hardwood like bass, or pine will work. Looks like the factory used the trunk of the bushes out behind the building. LOL
