Has Anybody Tried the Ultrafly B/06/15?
I just picked up an Ultrafly B/06/15. Has anyone used one of these on a pusher jet? Just wondering what prop, batteries, etc. I'd like to hear anyone's experiences with this motor.
Here are the specs:
Motor Length: 1.6 in (41 mm)
Motor Diameter: 1.28 in (32.5 mm)
Shaft Length: 0.45 in (11.5 mm)
Shaft Diameter: 0.125 in (3.17 mm)
Motor Weight: 1.47 oz (42 g)
Maximum Input Power: 180 watt
Looks promissing on a smaller pusher jet. Anyone have the Motocalc specs for this motor?

Hey Tim. I put one of these motors on a funjet. It flys well with a 7 by 5 prop, however not very fast. I am thinking of putting this motor on a 3d foam plane.

I have the B/06/10 on my 3D planes.
Magnet spacing is decently tight, build is solid, and overall not bad, except the bearings are going after some mild use, probably a hundred or so flights to date each. Im guessing its more to do with the balancing of large 3D props, but I'm not sure. Its also about 5 years old now on my plane.
I haven't bothered to change the bearings, but I'm pretty impressed by the motor. Zero experience with pushers though.
