Jet design

This is my first EDF design, so I have no experience with this. Does this look airworthy?

It should have a wing loading of about 10oz./sq.ft., so I can lower the wing area if necessary. I plan to use a 64mm fan, 4400Kv on a 3s.

I think it looks cool and looks totally airworthy. in fact, this very thing has been tried by NASA and JPL with good results. if you've got the size and the wing area, I'd go a little less on Kv (4000) and go up 1 cell to 4S. Dons Wicked sells the best package on the market, hands down. you won't be happy on 3S for very long and you'll be wanting to upgrade anyway. may as well do it from the get go. you'll need at least a 45 Amp ESC for the application. keeping my eyes on this build.

I'm a bit budget limited. I was thinking this setup. I only have 3s batteries, so sticking to 3s will save money there.
I forgot to say that this will be 30" span, 320 sq.in. Do you recommend downsizing?

What would happen if the wingtips were joined in a diamond? More drag from interference?

This one appears to work fine.

alpha jet look's good but the 2 wings are so close together they create lift. if you got wings at wrong space its like brick wall top air hits bottom air not allowing air to pass through wing's

best way to do it, is to try it. you won't know if you don't try. the JPL version looked a lot like yours and it worked just fine. how do I know.......................my brother works at JPL. give it a whirl and see what happens.

Alright. If I have to I'll space the wings, but more carbon would be needed if that happened.

there's lots of shots and articles on the net. you've just gotta do some searching to find them. you are better to look in NASA articles, since JPL's files are somewhat difficult to locate. I can get access to all this stuff, but I can't give you access to it. LOL.
