Cleaning the deck...
After sitting for most of the winter, the decks need to be washed.
Who needs a submarine...
New high torque servos almost let me keep the boat straight
when going full speed. The first time I saw this, the boat was
out in the middle of the pond, and it suddenly stopped and did
a head stand... I wasn't sure what happened. Now it's just one
of the normal occurances...
Thanks for the pictures.!

As it was once explained to me it looks like "displacment hull syndrome". AS the ship gains speed it basically pushes so much water out of the way that it loses lift or "sinks into a hole in the water".eventually it would submerge itself. It was one of the reasons for bulbous bows on large ships

Hey, All in good fun.
Nary a drop of water in the boat... sopped it up with a napkin.
Yes this is the boat that I am always driving sideways...
It is exactly as Greg describes... The boat just pushes so much water
that, like springers, it eventually just takes the bow wake over the bullwarks.

Do any pics of full size tug's 'diving' at speed exist?...
.. and do 'pointy bow' tugs try to do the same thing?..

Pony up the pics...
As for full speed tugs... Tugboat Races
