I do have a general question about these small EDFs. I did balance the fan per NitroCharged's tutorial and it worked out really well. I had it to where there was only a minimal vibration at full throttle. When the impeller came off, I pushed it back on but then it was horribly out of balance and it flew of again. Last night I got a few minutes to test it and ran the motor up to full without the impeller and it seems the motor itself is producing a fair amount of vibration. I think I had the impeller set in the correct position to offset the vibration from the motor. So, somehow I need a way of fixing the impeller to the shaft so that I can re-balance it. What's the best technique? I was thinking of getting a bit of sandpaper and roughing up the shaft a bit and then using some UHU glue to secure the impeller. Should I use glue? If so, what's the best type of glue? TIA

I have used a dremel with a thin wheel to rough up the motor shaft and then ca. I have also had a hard time getting them off after this.

Sorry i missed you Jack. I had the 35s there but never flew them, too crazy with unlimited pilot stations. I just competed in scale This year 1 flight all day.

Another quick question: So, I have just gotten too frustrated with the 27mm AEO fan. I should have listened to you guys in the beginning!

Anyway, I went on and ordered up an extra 12mm motor and a Hyperflow fan unit. Once I get it in, I can measure it make a plug for the bell mouth, but what about the rest of the duct/stators? Should it be just a straight shot, or does it need to reduce down at all? In au117's pics it looks like it reduces down a bit, maybe 10-15%?

My battery finally came in for the 150% F-35C that I built from your plans with a 50mm EDF. I flew it today, although quite windy, and I have to say it flew better than any airplane I've ever bought. CG from your plans was spot on, and the graphics/overall design looked gorgeous in the air. I can't thank you enough!

I am currently building a 300% F-35C now...mainly based off your plans. Thank you again!
