The site main is around 180 metres x 70 metres, but distance covered by the time you add the overlaps is more like 300 metres I have closer shots obviously but they didn't strike me as particularly useful for you guys unless I stitched them......but as you wouldn't then be able to take advantage of the map on here, there didn't seem much point!

I'm surprised a historical sight like that is not fenced off. In the US, we would have roped it off, dug it up and charged admission for people to see.

Frank. Problem is the UK is so rich in archeology sites only the best are managed. Rest are left as is and remain hidden to everyone unless they are looking for them.. theres an excellent UK series worth looking out for.. Time Team.. you should get it online

Actually the farmer involved is in trouble with regard the feeder, the site is protected so it should not be there.
