Pulling my hair out

I'm using Multiwii 2.1 Conf to set-up a new quad. Everything I'm reading here on the forums and in the docs talks about multiwii controllers having two flight modes: Acro mode and level (or stable mode).

I can't for the life of me figure out how to map those two words (Acro and Level) to the checkboxes on the MultiWii Conf UI.

Multiwii Conf 1.9 had a checkbox labeled 'Level' that you would associate with an accessory switch. I always assumed when 'Level' was on you were flying in level or stable mode and when it was disabled, acro mode.

The 'level' checkbox is entirely missing from the newer 2.1 version of MultiWii Conf.

What am I missing?

Ohhhh.... that would explain why 1.9 has Level and no ACC. Duhhh... That makes sense.

For some reason I thought barometer, magnometer, and accelerometer (gyro) were all needed for 'level' flight mode.

Briefly, Barometer is for height/altitude hold, Magnometer is for direction and ACCelerometer is for level, for "level mode" all you want/need is ACC on.

I haven't messed with Mag or baro much... heck I hardly use ACC!

In the pic you posted above you'd be flying in acro mode when the AUX1 stick is in position 1 (low) and acc/autolevel mode when stick is in position 2&3 (mid&high).
If you always want to fly in acc mode, just mark all 3 boxes.
