Very nice. Thank you for posting it. This is definitely one I would like to build.

Does anyone have a plan that shows a plane with a single fuselage but twin vertical stabs with working rudders? This would be a plane like an Ercoupe or a Miles M.28 Mercury...hell, even something not scale but showing dual rudder actuation. Whether ot or OT, need some help here.

NOTE: a P-38 or other twin-boom fuselage doesn't help here, the key is single "boom" back but twin rudders.

Many thanks in advance for any help! Got a stalled project here that I'd REALLY like to get going.

Well, Chris, your delivery leaves a lot to be desired...to say the least. Couldn't you have just answered the request?

Soft landings,

The question was answered in the pre-1960 forum.

He posted the same question in a couple of threads. I notice that after I posted here. He should of started a new thread to keep these ones on topic.

Possibly, BUT I knew the plans-fiends here (of which I am definitely one) would likely have something that showed how this problem was tackled.

I've seen a couple ideas, nothing that gets it "done", but I should be able to cobble something together.

I return you to your regularly scheduled planning

All but the Zirolli are older free-flight designs (and an RC conversion of same) without working rudders. That Zirolli model looks like the business though!! Many thanks.

I read through Tomahawk's build thread (awesome work by the way!) and it looks very similar to the Zirolli actuation method. I'll be trying to adapt this to my model.

Hi Magpie;
That last http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...postcount=2623
from Edubarca is a 1957 radio controlled Ercoupe. Plan includes the bellcrank-hinge system.

Helmsman, thanks for posting your Fly Baby Biplane. For either indoor peanut or slightly larger for RC it looks like a nice model. Yes, like it.

Hi John
I am glad you like Fly Baby Bipe. I did enlarge the plan to 26" span but never got around to building it. I would suggest that you make the tailplane a little bigger to aid stability. I had to do this with my peanut version. By using clear celluloid fixed to the underside of the tail you could not see the enlargment in flight. There must be many other aeromodellers out there that have drawn up their own plans so how about sharing them with us.
