Thanks for support.
Going to try latest firmware version soon.

Another Maxi Lover signing in
I've been experimenting with the air-frame loads over the last year, my out-going model has been cut down twice and I got it to a point where I just LOVE the way it flies:
Full size v's my 'franken-swift' :
And here is the new WIP:
I'm waiting on a gopro/board-cam nose pod and I'm also intending to 'bow-tie' the rear to reduce noise and increase motor efficiency.

Nice flight. What kind of equipment do you use?
Why did you cut the original MaxiSwift?
Here is my recent flight on August 6 with my MaxiSwift FPV.

I'm using most ImmersionRC gear (5.8 video, EzUHF, Tiny Telemetry) and an FY31AP + Hornet OSD.
I cut it down because the full size wing is too flexible and the roll rate is shocking.. But the foam is so dense and durable plus its a very thick air-frame I think its a great base for building smaller, faster wings
Heres a flight from yesterday where I was really giving it hell, sadly I lost my HD camera in long grass later in the day on a heavy landing so I only have ground recordings

You are flying really fast and low. You need to be already experienced pilot with trusted equipment. Nice video!
Sorry to hear about the camera. I do not have courage yet to fly so low and fast. But maybe it will improve.
I used this guide to improve the original MaxiSwift. Wooden wing joiner, kevlar cords, custom motor mount on wooden wing joiner, servos on top and metal custom clevis on wings.
It improved the original wing a lot.
I want to have fast wing sometimes in the future. Something like Zephyr to have fun.
My MaxiSwift is able to fly also around 100 km/h on full throttle. But I am flying more slowly and have pan and tilt there to look around the wing while I am flying, which maybe prevents me to do crazy things. But occasionally I also fly fast.
This is video from not official competition to catch the train.
I use this equipment.
