Steam launch accessories
Inspired by the fantastic atmospheric models of Bernhard I set about making some accessories for my steam launch (where does he find those bits and pieces?).
The following photos and video is showing my first effort a working stirrup pump. I had to look up a GCSE physics exam to find out how they worked. Once completed it will no doubt never be put to work but at least I will know it works.

Great ide ,, super................ have you a drawing of how you did it,,,
..i find many small item on Ebay 1/6 --1/12 dollhouse .or miniatures..or make them my selvs... Regards Bernhard |

I used this drawing to make the pump.
I did not fit a seal to the piston just making the clearance about .002. Valves are balls sitting on a reamed hole with lift restricted by a pin. I did not take photos as I just made it up as I went along sorry.

I have just had the launch down to the club steam test completed I had to try it out .
The chill in the air added to the steam effect gathering a nice crowd. A very proud moment indeed.
