Mex: I have suggested using a standard set up with the control rod exiting the fuse. near the back and connecting to a standard horn on the rudder. (post #234) If you do not understand (no insult intended) I would be happy to explain further. Also you could lock the rudder straight and just not use it.
Hope this helps, but if it dosn't, ask again and we will figure something out. :-) Kerry |

I once had the problem with a stock servo on another plane. Only way I found was exchanging the servo. Though maybe the linkages from the servo aren't hard/stiff enough.. Just a guess.
Anyways, HK didn't send the package out yesterday even though they set the status to shipped. Arrrh. |

Ah sorry i read over it, well if those are the option i think i just don't use the rudder
Or when i feel like 'bob the builder' i give it a try to use a standard horn and mount the servo in the rear. My Fox is so nose heavy so that extra weight at the rear can fix that problem to.

Builder Bob ? ! - - Hey I resemble that comment !
Mex you can cut away CaReFuLlY "some" of the center section IN the Fuse. The parts where the wing's plug in. And move the pak back there. The battery is for occassional use but mostly gliding. Right ? So dont go too large with it. Bob - yes Bob ! :-) |

Lock the rudder straight, unplug the servo and go flying. BOB can probably tell us if this bird NEEDS the rudder. I shouldn't say so much, I haven't even had mine flying yet. I hate winter! BOB? |

Not much rudder needed , IF ANY !
Oh it's nice to do coordinated turns but telling the difference is kinda tuff. Sure if the Ailerons QUIT it would be nice to have an ALTERNATE way of exercisingsome minor amount of control. And IF you touch a wing tip on landing it would be useful to be able to straighten things out. I guess it depends on your flying style and location. We've started to actually have a few good days in a row - OK TWO so far ! But the fog did not clear until noon. No love lost on winter here ! Although you could go Snow shoeing or XC skiing or even Down hill within an hr or two drive. NOT ! |

Would these blades here work as spare replacements for the stock spinner?
11x8 Just not sure if the attachment point is correct for the stock spinner hub? http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...idProduct=7985 I hope they ship my glider soon! I think the Chinese newyear is starting soon Feb 3rd and they will probably shut down for close to a week!?!? ![]() Glen |
