Looking at full scale flying wings, I came across this airfoil from the marske monarch.

How oversized are your elevons? That thing flies nice! I should do one.

I did an RMS alula-ish bird yesterday, gonna finish up the final details today and try to get out to toss it.

The elevons were oversized to allow the flips. 3 1/2" deep elevon root, 3" deep at the tip.

I think the thickness of 3 foam boards would have been good for an asymmetric airfoil. I think for the symmetric airfoil as shown in the video I would go to 4 DTF board thickness if I built another one; this would allow a bit more curvature in the root of the wing for better performance.
