Display and speak X style telemetry for non Taranis radios.
Too bad they obsoleted this way the D style telemetry, more capable for certain cases.

It connects to the SPort connector on the XJT module not the serial port.
The older FLD-02 display connects to the serial port.

The main application is to display, log, and speak SPort telemetry data from X series receivers when the XJT is used in a transmitter that has a JR module bay or has an XJT module fitted internally but which is not an OpenTX transmitter.

It also serves as a convenient SPort configuration module and firmware update module.

For example I have one fitted to my Multiplex EVO that has an XJT internal module so that I can get telemetry, alarms and telemetry data voice announcements. It is unlikeky to be of interest to most Taranis owners.

Sorry, I should have quoted him but as it was the next post....

I was trying to ask Joebuster what he expected the dashboard to do in the arrangement he described in his post. I misread the port he said though, sorry.

Yes, if you use both the internal XJT and an external one you must disable telemetry on the external one with the 2 DIP switches ON. Otherwise both try to talk on the same wire and step on each other.
