Warren and Target (hi John!)

Ive been buying my Ult Cote lite at Smith Bros in Reseda. In fact, I just restocked on tr yellow,tr red and white. These might have been the last rolls until they restock. There was a tr blue still on the rack. If you guys need those colors now, you can have the rolls i just bought, just replace them.

I am, old, and bold, but really slow, but now that beer, oops, work has slowed down a bit I got a bit done tonight I got the top sheeting on last week using an old school method to make the sheeting conform to the ribs And after reading the instructions to use spacers for the bottom sheeting, I decided to share my old school way I have developed an allergy to CA used in closed spaces, so, am building with Titebond. This gives us old guys time to get it all fitted. just my way to skin the cat

Al

on a side note, remember to drill out, the two front mounting holes, because the top is already sheeted!

Whew, got my 56K modem running again, thanks to the use of one of the pins from my moms tomato Spent the evening doing a lot of sanding Starting to look good! Had to sand off those nice build tabs, very carefully Center panel is down to spoiler build, ply end caps, and a bunch of rib capping, but I am still looking for the part where we drill the holes for the spoiler servo wires Looks like I am almost off to the wing tips, yahoo, looks like rain this weekend here, so I may get on to the fuse, while I let my titebond dry

Center panel is now complete except for the glass on the D box, and the servo floors in the spoiler boxes. Spoilers are shaped.
All the CF parts for the tips are trimmed and prepped, and the ribs are ready to rock, as well.
Start on the tip panels in the morning.

This is a nice kit that is well designed. It builds extremely straight.
One little thing that I found was the center panel end ribs didn't have notches for the stringer spar or the spoiler support. Tomorrow I will post pictures of how I transferred the markings to the ribs to be cut out accurately, since I missed in the instructions that these balsa end ribs were to be glued in with the others (the others were already glued in! D'oh!).

R,
Target
PS. Al- I drilled the holes for the spoiler servo wires BEFORE I started the build of the CP. I used dowel and a scrap of LE CF rod to pin the stack of ribs together and drill a 3/16" hole through all the C1 through C4 ribs at one time. Worked great.
