There will be a Precision in town shortly. As soon as it arrives, I will take some pictures, and do a little install thread, and immediately get to flying.... I am really excited about this model.

Like Bob said, get in touch with him if you'd like to save a spot in the order line.

Stay tuned.

It's so nice to see manufacturers finally running ailerons out to the wingtips! No more senseless drag! No more broken wing tips! No more globs of micro balloons weighing down the wingtips to close out the foolish cuts! And they even did it on the tail too!

I've been tempted so many times to cut the stupid tips off all my wingtips, v-tails or rudders and attach them properly before they break (or after). Looks like a few thousand dollars is all I need to save myself the trouble. That's a hell of a great looking plane.

@Vespa: it is telling that two of its designers, Johannes Dillinger and Benjamin Rodax, are professional aero-engineers.

I liked the write up they did on the Samba homepage, and to top it, the plane also looks really nice!

Great pics on knewt's blog.

How many times do I have to tell You are a great engineer yourself

Not at all Yuri. I'm just good at criticizing other engineers. Try running ailerons out to the tip and see all the new problems that result and you'll understand why the convention is what it is. Samba works thru these issues and often does so brilliantly, but it's neither easy nor obvious so as an engineer I am often impressed with their work.

Take the Pike Perfect rudder for example and note how the fuselage was molded with the rudder turned left. This is very difficult to do but the benefits are tremendous.
