All motors ok on first throttle, nothing on second throttle
Building my first quad
- KK2 1.6++
- Cheap Turnigy light green 30A opto
- 2830/11 motors
- Futaba 6EX
- Frsky 7ch
4 Esc calibrated the new 1.6++ way, without TX. Went smoothly.
- All motors running at the same good timing at first throttle
- Then throttle to zero,
- then at the next throttle up... nothing, even at brief 60/70%
Brief because that is quite dangerous...
I must disarm, than arm again to have step 1 again, etc...
Have you ever experienced that ?

Yep. You're running multistars, right?
Reflash them with simonk and this problem will go away, at least it did for me.
I think it's to do with automatic throttle calibration - fine for a fixed wing, outright dangerous on a multirotor. Those multistars are not running multirotor-specific firmware, despite the branding.
PS also if you are at zero throttle for 20 seconds then the kk2 will disarm, but it sounds more like a multistar problem.
