Exceed Maxstone 10 Build

Here are some of the mods that I have done to my Maxstone 10

I have added rear steer, bent the rear 4 links to accommodate rear steer

I have added an RC4WD Wireless winch to the front and made a custom mount to fit over the front steering servo.

Here are some pics of all I have done.

PM me if you want the SolidWorks files for the winch mount.

looking good but would use a black sharpie or some black paint on that servo sticks out like a sore thumb .

Working on making some adapters for my Kyosho USA1 wheels I had lying around. Needs a big spacer to allow it to turn. I plan on modeling it, and printing it on my MakerBot.

I made some inch spacers today on the bot, I just took a whack at the numbers, and they worked the first time. Now I am just waiting on new servo gears and it should be drivable.

Here are links to my parts on Thingiverse

Well, everything is falling apart on the crawler. The rear axle broke completely off last night where the 4-link/spring mounts are, I lost the kong hook off of my winch, and my servo gears are back-ordered at the hobby store. Sadly to say she is just gonna have to hang on the wall until parts show up.

I haven't measured it, but with the big tires on it is less than with the stock tires. They get into the body really quickly. I will have to measure it next time I am out in the shop with the body off. I will post data when I get it.

Exceed RC Maxstone 10 Mods

Printed some rock light brackets this past week. I had the light bar on top and the tail lights in the back, but doing some night crawling I couldn't see what in the heck was going on underneath the buggy, so I modeled and printed up some brackets that would work with the current LED's. Haven't crawled with em yet, but it seems to illuminate the undercarriage pretty well.

Link to the Thingiverse site where the files are, if anyone wants to print one:

Are the USA-1 wheels from an electric USA-1 or a nitro? ( they look like there from the electric version). Because USA -1 Nitro wheels have a more aggressive offset, and better hex hubs( easier to make adapters) . Next question do you have the USA-1 truck still?

Pretty sure it was electric, the guy that gave me the wheels didn't have the truck, just said they were off of a USA-1.
