The AVSIM forum would be visited by quite a few more X Plane users than this website, I reckon.

Microsoft Flight Simulators FSX and FS9 have much larger followings than X Plane, with addon aircraft , scenery and weather enhancements to satisfy even the most demanding sim flier.

I do have an earlier version of X Plane gathering dust on a bookshelf, and I recall writing an email to the gentleman who evidently writes the code, seeking answers to some installation issue I was experiencing at the time.

The reply I got to my customer enquiry came accross as having been written by a short-tempered individual who did not take kindly to impertinent questions. That was about the extent of my experience with X Plane, and the start of my foray into FS9, the platform to which I will resolutely cling, until it finally sinks without trace into the tar-pits of time, like the software dinasaur that it has become.

Been wondering what to do when FSX joins that dinosaur in the tar-pit...

I have xplane 10! I fly a lot on it... They got some great planes! Great graphics! Great airports! It's a great sim all around... I usually use the Cessnas or the x737!

RCstudent,
Did you get the global scenery version?
If so, could you post a aerial screenshot of TN08?
Mike.
